Cotton face masks

Hi everyone!

I have about 30 plus masks cut and ready for sewing, just waiting on elastic. I’ll be at the makerspace Friday afternoon if anyone would like to lend a socially distanced hand :slight_smile: I have the templates made if you want to bring your own fabric and I’m happy to show you how.

I have some material I bought a number of years ago. I do not know what the material is. I suspect it is a cotton/poly blend. Is a poly cotton blend okay?
It is light weight.
I will not be coming in, but could cut this material and/or drop it off.

Hi Rae! The hospitals are unfortunately only accepting 100% cotton so they can go through their cleaning process :frowning:

I know Frank’s Bargain Center has plenty. I was there Sunday. The last 2 times I was there, I was the only customer. So exposure is at a minimum.
