COVER Home Repair seeks an experienced Home Repair Director to lead this team. COVER’s mission is to foster hope and build community by doing urgent home repairs for low income homeowners in the Upper Valley of VT and NH.
COVER is a volunteer-powered, professionally-led non-profit that helps make homes safe, warm and dry by building accessibility ramps, installing new roofs, performing urgent home repairs, and air-sealing homes via it’s weatherization program.
Essential skills required: construction project management; staff and volunteer management; outreach and communications oral and written; 5 years construction management; 3 years supervising employees or volunteers and/or teaching.

COVER also has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Work Crew Leader. This position supports a team of volunteers doing urgent home repair projects for low income, elderly, and mobility challenged homeowners in the Upper Valley. The team builds accessibility ramps, installs metal roofs, and a wide variety of home repair projects also including cold air draft sealing of homes. Some previous construction or repair experience helpful but not essential. Must have valid driver’s license, be insurable, and immediately available. We are following strict COVID safety procedures.
